The Helping Hen is part of the Work Options culinary job training program, a non-profit that helps people overcome life’s challenges and prepare to become part of Colorado’s culinary workforce.

The Helping Hen Cafe is now open on The Mosaic Community Campus (1895 Quebec St. in Denver). Visit us for breakfast or lunch, and see the Work Options training program in action. The Helping Hen Cafe gives Apprenticeship students an opportunity to practice their skills.

6:30 am – 2:30 pm
Visit The Helping Hen Food Truck every Thursday at Civic Center Eats.
Choose from a meal for the whole family, or one of our delicious sandwiches and sides. When you eat lunch or bring home dinner from The Helping Hen food truck, you’re making a difference in the lives of Work Options trainees on their journey to a successful culinary career.

The Helping Hen offers catering for your company when you want a special meal. Choose from a family meal, delicious sandwiches and a wide array of sides including Honey Cornbread, Mashed Sweet Potato or Gouda Mac & Cheese.
