Get involved with WOW in a new & exciting way! Work Options for Women’s Cooking Classes
are led by acclaimed Denver chefs and offer “hands on” instruction of specialty techniques and recipes. Class sizes are limited to 10 people to provide more personal attention. Best of all, you can sample your creations, leave with a stack of recipe cards, and maybe even take home some of the fruits of your labor.
100% of your ticket sale goes to supporting the mission of WOW: “to help impoverished women gain the skills and confidence they need to work their way out of poverty and become gainfully and permanently employed in the food service industry.”

July 1, 2013Mary Nguyen, Chef and Owner of Denver-area restaurants Parallel Seventeen and Street Kitchen Asian BistroChef Mary specializes in Asian foods, which she mastered while traveling and eating throughout Hong Kong, Vietnam, China and Thailand. These travels highly influenced the menu at her first restaurant, Parallel Seventeen, a contemporary Vietnamese bistro that opened to rave reviews in 2005.
